MDC Officers Newsletter Home	The Chris Van Gaasbeek Memorial Trophy This award is given by the Maine Driving Community to one of its members each year. It is to acknowledge a person who exhibits traditional examples of camaraderie, horsemanship, sportsmanship, and the willingness to share driving experiences with others. Traditionally this trophy is awarded at Maine Carriage Day, but in recent years it has been announced at the December Christmas Party/Meeting of the Maine Driving Club.
