| Paris KY is beautiful. Lexington area is beautiful as well. It does get very hot in summer. They can have very bad storms too. |

I lived in Lexington for a year and between Paris and Mt. Sterling in a town called North Middletown, for a few months. I loved Lexington. Paris is gorgeous, too! BSB's right, there can be severe weather, but not so much in Lexington as in western KY. We had one tornado touch down, an F2, when we lived there, which was terrifying but kind of cool at the same time... The hail storms and torrential rains that came and went were kinda scary when you're driving, too. But all in all, it was beautiful. I still miss the smell of the bluegrass in bloom... smiles kinda oniony! When I retire, I'm going back to KY!
Lynn, what town are you thinking about? Nicholasville? Paris? Versailles? I"m jealous! lol... There are some awesome vet practices down there! _________________ Jen Winchester

We just shipped a horse from Florida to Maine, and used Potomac Horse Carriers. We have used them several times prior to this and have always had great experiences. Very professional, safe, and timely. They have a website: http://www.potomachorsecarriers.com/ or can call 1-800-448-7557.
Best of luck in your ventures!! |
